Fast, good food. They play their employees legitimate wages so you don't have to tip/they don't accept tips. Noodles+co offers kinds of different pasta/noodle dishes from different cuisines. Of course they're not going to be authentic, but they will be satisfying. Simple dishes, simple flavors -- simply satisfying. Try the Asian pan noodles with beef. The food isn't dirt cheap by any means. Portion sizes are maybe a little small for the price. The meats aren't amazing.

SETTING: Seems a bit rundown and a bit chaotic. Looks clean inside, but it just doesn't feel that clean for some reason. More seating upstairs. FOOD: You're likely here because you need something fast and affordable, without surprises, and not "fast food". I usually go for the Alfredo MontAmore. It's similar to an alfredo, but with spaghetti pasta, breaded chicken, cheese, some veggies. Lots of different noodle offerings, and it doesn't really have a flagship dish. Reminds me of how we all have this one "friend". The guy who tries to fit in with everyone and please everyone, but in the end, everyone just thinks he's trying too hard and is a bit weird. You know, that guy. Noodles&Co is that "friend". Sometimes this "friend" scores some sweet deals that make hanging out more tolerable. Sign up on their website, and you will be emailed many BOGO opportunities, like once every two months. Also you get a free bowl for your birthday! He tries to be a good friend, and I appreciate it, but he's still a bit weird. Just be yourself Noodles&Co! Find your niche/group of friends, and don't worry about the others! SERVICE: They bring the food to you if you dine in. You can leave the dishes when you're done and they clean up...when they get to it. IMPRESSIONS: The food is decent, but nothing I crave. Essentially, BOGO is the only reason I come here.

Nice soup. I like the no-tips but we still bus your tables culture. Hopefully they're paid enough to cover that in the first place rather than rely on the tipping culture.

A decent stop. I usually only go when they have bogo bowls. A great way to eat without cooking during finals. Or super cheap lunch date with a friend. (~$4 each if you get two regular size bowls and a protein, no soda with the bogo deal)

This place is so weird. Lol. I know it's a chain and all, but it's pretty weird overall. The concept is misleading, maybe it's because I'm Asian but I really thought this was going to be a Pho/Ramen spot. I was clearly wrong. They have some wannabe-Asian dishes along with some Americanized pasta dishes. The service was mediocre but the price is decent. The menu has a wide variety of dishes to choose from, but I don't really think they nailed a specific concept down. Yeah, I get it. They are all noodle-based dishes, but honestly I would expect a lot more out of a food establishment like this. I wish I had a better experience because it was so close to campus and seemed like a great place to go to on weekends I was visiting.

Oh Noodles and Co. How did I live for so long without you in my life? I don't really do fast food - only In'N'Out and Chipotle pretty much. I like to see my food being cooked--not defrosted. My friends have raved about their Mac and cheese (but I've yet to try it). They make decent potstickers (a rather random side choice to me). I enjoy their entrees. I've only ever had the spaghetti and meatballs and the the penne rosa. Both good. $5.99 for a regular and $4.69 for a small. My friends usually get a small or split a regular but I eat a lot and finish the regular on my own. Never eaten in the restaurant, to-go service is fast. Also there was a courteous manager last time I was there.

Very bland and unexciting. Service is sub par. They forgot something every time we visited here. Not going back anytime soon.

This place is below average - taste of Tom yum khum noodle was sub par. I would not go there to get real taste of noodles. Menu is not well designed - it is trying to be everything to everybody. The management should learn little bit of marketing - "the restaurant for families and DIPLOMAT", really restaurant for diplomat?? What a stupid segmentation.

After speaking with the manager (doyle I believe his name was-very pleasant to deal with) I was promised a food donation for 50 people for an event at U of M. The day of I went to the restaurant to double check my order and was completely shut down saying the order would not be ready until after the time the event started. The woman who I dealt with at the front (not the same person I spoke to on the phone) was extremely disrespectful and should not have an occupation dealing with people as she clearly has no idea how to respect customers. This was so frustrating as it was my first issue with the chain and I have had nothing but positive experiences in the past!

this spot is convenient, well priced, clean and has lots of seating They offer up a bunch of dishes - i got the pad thai - it was good ! not too greesy at all, not too saucy. it was a good portion size my friends love the penna fresca and penne rosa! You go in and order, pay for it, and then the food is brought to your table - it was quick and easy !

Surprised by the people who knock Noodles & Company. Very surprised. For $10 you can get a filling meal. Portions are big There is a lot of variety on the menu. Every dish tastes fresh and has a mix of flavors. It's fast. It's cheap. You like meat? You like tofu? Both are available and the tofu is $$$ but it's well cooked and adds to the meal. You like mac and cheese? It's here and it's good. You like curries? They have a couple varieties that are different and delicious. Sick of the same old noodles? They have so many choices. Pan noodles, rice noodles, penne (with spinach, wine, cream sauce), egg noodles (with butter and parmesan). A simple salad or soup? Well you have about four of each to choose from (I love the thai curry soup and the tomato soup). They also do a great job with posting nutritional information and listing dishes that are vegetarian or could be made vegetarian. It's great to have this on campus for a quick lunch or dinner. The place is reasonably clean and the staff is pretty friendly.

Fast and fresh noodles, like a McDonald's style but they bring the food to your table. They guarantee that they will cook your dish in 5 minutes or less, for takeout or dine-in. I think they added delivery for some locations. No tipping accepted which is nice. Not much to say, it's not upscale or complicated, just simple pasta like mac and cheese when you want some. It sucks that they discontinued their rewards program with the punch card. I still keep coming here though, it's better than you might think. Always a hot meal to enjoy. Wish they were open later.

I'm a new transplant, and coming from the home state of this restaurant I can honestly say this place should be shut down, everyone fired, and try to begin anew with the goal of upholding the integrity of what we came to know with Noodles & Co. I took my two kids to this site. Two of us are celiac and have had no problems with Noodles because they cook the noodles in clean pans and there has not been any cross-contamination issues. As a celiac, I'm always extremely upfront about our allergies and needs for proper measures to take place to ensure our health. Kat took our order, and then as I was grabbing our number and turing around, I see her go to the line and put her finger just inside the food of one dish...IN the food! I know, I should have run. Her dirty finger that has been on other people's money and credit cards, all over the dirty register, and who knows where else - in someone's food. Being late for a workshop for my kids, I thought I'll just stay and watch to make sure it doesn't happen to mine. So I stay, and witness the most unprofessional, ridiculous tantrum from the line cook. He was swinging and banging the pans, throwing the dishes upfront for Kat to take, making an embarrassing display of 3-yr old behavior after which there was an even more ridiculous quarrel between he and Kat. When they finished, I approached the counter and said that due to the shenanigans I witnessed, I was worried about our order. I restated that it was imperative to use fresh, clean pans, that we had celiac. Kat smugly smiled and said of course and turned around. The line cook was switching out with another one at this time (one who came in, dropped his bag, and didn't wash his hands before digging into orders so I hope there is a hidden sink behind that swinging door). It wasn't until 2 bites into my son's meal that I heard my son say, "I don't know what this other sauce is but it's tasty." Panicking, I grabbed his bowl from him, looked, and to my horror I see Penne Rosa sauce mixed in his dish. The sauce from the last dish Kat called for before ours were made. I'm flaming. That's all a parent can be when they do what they can to protect their children and fools like this don't give a shit. Flaming. I run it all back up to the counter and tell her what I found. Kat tells me to hang on, and then she takes a tray of food to a table (ok since it's only her and the line cook), but then she stops at every other table to see how they're doing, oh can she get them any refills or anything else, before coming slowly back up. My son was just exposed to his allergen, mind you. No big deal. I tell her again, she doesn't even want to look at the dish with the sauce in it, and when she finally does she tells me that it's only discolored from the tomatoes. Yes, those little chili flakes are tomatoes. There was not one apology from her or the line cook who heard everything being only 10 feet back. No show of concern AT ALL. In fact, she told me to keep my voice down. I was putting her out. FOR SHAME!!! You all should be fired, and I'm hoping that no one else gets sick. This place should be shut down and they should not be allowed the responsibility of handling other people's food. I'd like to know who's covering the expensive meds I had to give my child to help stop the attack due to their negligence...

Very mediocre meal with small portions and not cheap enough to warrant it. Food was cold and very bland. The soda machine was pretty cool though.

For a chain fast-ish food restaurant, this place is top notch, or at least it was on my recent visit. The staff were universally friendly, from the gentleman who took my order to the young woman who bussed my table - smiles and general conviviality aplenty. My food was free (the best price ever) with a coupon I'd received through the online customer club, which resulted in me trying their new seasonal item - the asparagus pesto pasta primavera. So tasty! The asparagus had a good flavor and worked well with the mildly pesto-tasting sauce, and the fresh, crunchy spinach greens provided nice contrast. The best part (aside from it being free...) was that they served me my food on a ceramic plate with stainless steel silverware. The meal thus generated very little waste. This makes sense from both an environmental and cost perspective, and adds a touch of class to the meal, as did my excellent seat in the quiet upstairs area. Keep up the good work, Noodles! An enthusiastic three stars. Go there if you're in the mood for an affordable, enjoyable casual meal from a socially-responsible business.

Had the pasta rossa with Parmesan crusted chicken. To be brief: Chicken tasted like rubber and everything was overwhelmingly salty and heavy. But to be fair, it was a cheap dinner, so I didn't expect it to be mind blowing.

Well i liked the food very much, they were fast and everything was delicious. The price is very reasonable and encourages you to go more. The cashier guy was super friendly. The only negative point i have to mention is the tables were not clean and so wasnt the bathroom. They just need to work this out. Otherwise im definitly going back.

The phone number provided by Google, Yelp and the Noodles website did not work at all. Therefore, we were unable to order our food. This is incredibly poor management of a company. Noodles, you are losing customers and this issue needs to be resolved ASAP.

I have enjoyed everything I've gotten here, but it's a tad on the pricey side for what you get, if you add a protein to your meal. BUT if you sign up on the company website, you can get a free noodle bowl (up to $7.50) on your birthday (+/- a week). The workers are quite friendly.

Noodles & Company provides a quick and easy meal for a tasty lunch. My favorite is the Wisconsin Mac & Cheese. It's good on it's own or with one of the many meat options. I normally just get it without meat though because it gets pricy very quickly. In general, if you plan to get a full entree (w/ meat) and a drink plan to spend around $10. I like how they bring your food out to you. Overall, I've always enjoyed my experience at this location. The staff is polite and friendly and they are very efficient.

This place is not a Chinese food establishment. Noodles & Company is cheap, simple and totally boring. - Most entrees don't contain meat. Expect to shell out at least another dollar to satiate your inner meat lover. - Food tastes ok but is very unimpressive. Think dining hall but blander. The Indonesian peanut saute felt like the kitchen was trying really hard to prepare Asian fare but failing miserably. - Decent portions at cheap prices, but nothing you can't easily prepare at home for much less Better to spend your time and money cooking something nicer for yourself. Or walk across the street to Chipotle.

Can you say filth ? 10 - 15 tables downstairs everyone of them had dirty plates, dishes, glasses, half eaten food on all of them. We went upstairs and it wasn't much better. The soda machine wasn't draining pop, water, ice where running all over the floor this place was disgusting. My daughter ordered noodles with pesto. It was noodles with a glop of pesto not even mixed up. I have eaten noodles and company for years, never had a problem until we walked in this dump. Yuck Yuck Yuck I felt like I was eating in a dumpster. I would rather be eating noodles (which I have) sitting in the slum streets of Manilla

Yes it's very simple, but omg it's delicious. This place isn't anything fancy but my favorite food has always been mac and cheese and their Wisconsin mac and cheese with Parmesan crusted chicken is amazing. The butter noodles are also very yummy :)This is I and my fiance's favorite place to eat. Thank god it's about an hour away from where we live or we'd be so fat :-P Their sauces are just so good, and the price is reasonable. The customer service is also awesome here. I have sent so many e-mails to the corporate complimenting their service and sometimes they'll send me coupons for it :)

Can I be a snobby NYC Asian person and say: this place makes some god awful shit and I'm horrified that people in the Midwest must endure such wretched noodles. I was in Ann Arbor to visit the campus, so when I became ravenously hungry, I didn't know where to eat. I went into Noodles & Company because I was sick of Western food (I spent almost 2 weeks in Michigan, meeting the boyfriend's family). I ordered the pad thai and my boyfriend had the curry noodles. Oh god. The horror. The pad thai - where do I start? How do you fuck up pad thai? Go on allrecipes or google that shit - you could train a wild chimp to make a decent bowl. Instead, I found myself eating a noodles-with-soy-sauce monstrosity. Even worse was my boyfriend's curry noodles. It had canned mushrooms in it. Canned muthafuckin' mushrooms. And zero curry. It would have tasted better just first light it on fire and have some drunk frat boy with musky genitals pee on it. This place is a disgrace. Don't go.

Ordered food to be delivered and took an hour and a half! My daughter was very disappointed and I had to cook up another meal for her as the dinner did not arrive before her bedtime. Noodles and Company never called to say that the delivery was delayed, and when I called after waiting an hour nobody had any idea what was going on. Very disappointing!

If you are looking for fine dining, or authentic ethnic cuisine, stay away. This place does basic noodle dishes, comfort food, regardless of what it might say on the menu. That being said, it's fast and well done for what it is, and for that I love it. I almost always order an item that has been off the menu for a while (the House Marinara), and I am always able to get it no problem. My penne noodles have never been over or undercooked, the sauce tasty, and the best part is that the "small" portion is always enough for me for one sitting. The service is quick, friendly, and there is no tipping required. If you're in the mood for something quick, simple, and yummy, for a decent price, definitely stop in!

When I eat out, I typically like to eat a meal that I probably couldn't make myself (minus a few fast food options). I never got into Noodles, although I know some people love it. I've had a couple different of their dishes there, and all have left me somewhat unsatisfied but full. (Watch out for dry chicken!!!)

Yes, noodles is the Taco Bell of Noodles and sauce but it's right next to my game shop and I love, well, noodles. The sad part is this location opened not long ago and the staff all ready doesn't give a shit. They also seemed to have switched there delicious buns from a nice soft and chewy square to a half of a small french stick. This stick is dry and gross. Anyway, if your new try the Asian Pan Noodles.
(2)
Naomi P.
I *wish* I could say this was the McDonalds of noodle places. It's more like the Subway of noodle shops. It all feels pre-fabbed. Given all the other choices nearby, this is low on my list for a repeat business.

I have always loved noodles and co and am super excited on the improvements they have made to their recipes. I lived downtown for two years and this used to be a favorite date nite spot for me because of location and good value for the food. I was pleasantly surprised when we came when we came back in to order our regular dishes and fond the flavors and portions much improved. However I was a little confused by the new menu offerings. Who goes to a noodle place to get salad or a sub when when there are so many better choices less than a block away. Also they did away with the punch cards. I hope they will replace it with some other kind of loyalty program soon.
(4)
Samiya B.
The food isn't great, but it isn't bad either. It's healthier than much of the other food on the block and hits the spot when needed.

This is a good place to go for a cheap, delicious meal. In my opinion the Asian noodles are the best. They are not authentic in any way, but they are quite good nonetheless. I recommend the Japanese pan noodles or the Bangkok curry (also very good in soup form). Join their email list to get occasional order-one-get-one-free deals.
(3)
Mei O.
I would rate this higher, but it's a like-dislike relationship. One time, the meal is quite tasty, the next time the olives taste like they were soaking in detergent. The prices are good for what you get, especially if you're indecisive like me and pick the "trio" to get a little salad with your noodles. The Asian noodle dishes are disappointing if you're used to authentic Thai or Chinese, but the American and European options aren't too bad. We usually go here when there's a fundraiser, otherwise we opt for something else.
(3)
Lori M.
I love it here, I eat at noodles with my friends at least once every other week. They don't allow tipping and they bus for you, it's great :)
(4)
Erin G.
I have gone here 3 times (once was a fundraiser) and I won't go again. The first time, I had alfredo noodles, and it was just gross. The second time, I was drunk and just wanting some good ol' buttered noodles. I think the salt shaker lid must have broken, because they were so salty I literally could not eat them and had to throw them away. The third, fundraiser time, I got some Asian dish (maybe sesame noodles? can't remember) and it was just bland and also kinda gross. Yeah, it's cheap, but the real price is in having to eat the food.
(1)
Munaf A.
Poor excuse for Thai noodles. Pay $0.50 extra and go to No Thai.
(2)
Kenneth T.
I like the food here, and, yes, the prices are great. The pasta is great, and every time I go, my dish is incredible. The chicken noodle soup, the "pasta fresca", and "pasta cavatappi" are all great. I've seen mixed reviews, but I really love to come here, settle down, and have a great meal of pasta and whatever sauce I've ordered.
(4)
Marlarissa M.
Noodles and Co offers a good selection of dishes, ranging from "American" to "Asian" to "European," so there is something for everyone. I'd recommend the Bangkok Curry noodles, but even the Mac-n-Cheese is impressive. If you're feeling a little adventurous, use the Sriracha sauce freely. At your own risk, of course.
(4)
Todd A.
I eat here several times a year. The food is reliable and quick. I like the Srirachi sauce at the tables! It's also a big plus that they offer full nutritional information in their web site, so that if you have needs or wishes concerning what it is that you're eating, you actually have a measure if control. Sadly, the salt content, like at many restaurants, is through the roof on most items.
(3)
Melissa L.

This place is so weird. Lol. I know it's a chain and all, but it's pretty weird overall. They have some wannabe-Asian dishes along with some Americanized pasta dishes. The service was mediocre but the price is decent. The menu has a wide variety of dishes to choose from, but I don't really think they nailed a specific concept down. Yeah, I get it. Also there was a courteous manager last time I was there.

this spot is convenient, well priced, clean and has lots of seating They offer up a bunch of dishes - i got the pad thai - it was good ! not too greesy at all, not too saucy. it was a good portion size my friends love the penna fresca and penne rosa!

The phone number provided by Google, Yelp and the Noodles website did not work at all. Therefore, we were unable to order our food. This is incredibly poor management of a company. Noodles, you are losing customers and this issue needs to be resolved ASAP.

(2)

I *wish* I could say this was the McDonalds of noodle places. It's more like the Subway of noodle shops. It all feels pre-fabbed. Given all the other choices nearby, this is low on my list for a repeat business.

This place is great. Great food. Great atmosphere. State Street in Ann Arbor is the greatest. If it isn't obvious, Noodles and Company earned a star based purely on location.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Patrick T.

(3)Amol P.
Nice soup. I like the no-tips but we still bus your tables culture. Hopefully they're paid enough to cover that in the first place rather than rely on the tipping culture.
(4)Melissa L.
A decent stop. I usually only go when they have bogo bowls. A great way to eat without cooking during finals. Or super cheap lunch date with a friend. (~$4 each if you get two regular size bowls and a protein, no soda with the bogo deal)
(4)Zoe Y.

(1)Mattie E.

I have enjoyed everything I've gotten here, but it's a tad on the pricey side for what you get, if you add a protein to your meal. BUT if you sign up on the company website, you can get a free noodle bowl (up to $7.50) on your birthday (+/- a week). The workers are quite friendly.
(3)Matt D.
(4)Jeffrey L.
(2)Mike R.

Amazing selection of "around the world tastes" ! An inexpensive go-to for Ann Arbor.

(5)C. K.
Don't go.
(1)Richard M.
(1)Gabriele N.
(3)Nina N.

I *wish* I could say this was the McDonalds of noodle places. It's more like the Subway of noodle shops. It all feels pre-fabbed. Given all the other choices nearby, this is low on my list for a repeat business.
(2)Ben D.
This place is great. Great food. Great atmosphere. State Street in Ann Arbor is the greatest. If it isn't obvious, Noodles and Company earned a star based purely on location.
(4)Kayla D.
(4)Samiya B.
The food isn't great, but it isn't bad either. It's healthier than much of the other food on the block and hits the spot when needed.
(4)Tina W.
(3)Mei O.
(3)Lori M.
I love it here, I eat at noodles with my friends at least once every other week. They don't allow tipping and they bus for you, it's great :)
(4)Erin G.
(1)Munaf A.
Poor excuse for Thai noodles. Pay $0.50 extra and go to No Thai.
(2)Kenneth T.
(4)Marlarissa M.
(4)Todd A.
(3)Melissa L.
A decent stop. I usually only go when they have bogo bowls. A great way to eat without cooking during finals. Or super cheap lunch date with a friend. (~$4 each if you get two regular size bowls and a protein, no soda with the bogo deal)
(4)Patrick T.
(4)Beck E.
I have enjoyed everything I've gotten here, but it's a tad on the pricey side for what you get, if you add a protein to your meal. BUT if you sign up on the company website, you can get a free noodle bowl (up to $7.50) on your birthday (+/- a week). The workers are quite friendly.
(3)Matt D.
(4)Jeffrey L.
(2)Mike R.
(1)Javier G.
Average portion, average price, average taste.
(3)Ha L.
Amazing selection of "around the world tastes" ! An inexpensive go-to for Ann Arbor.
(5)Felicia C.

Don't go.
(1)Richard M.

(3)Nina N.
(2)Atul S.
(1)Mattie E.

(3)Amol P.
Nice soup. I like the no-tips but we still bus your tables culture. Hopefully they're paid enough to cover that in the first place rather than rely on the tipping culture.
(4)Zoe Y.
(2)Shelby R.
Their food is da bomb dot com. Their Wisconsin mac and cheese is great and everyone should try it.
(5)Jola B.
(4)Bret H.
Very bland and unexciting. Service is sub par. They forgot something every time we visited here. Not going back anytime soon.
(2)Lindsey S.
this spot is convenient, well priced, clean and has lots of seating They offer up a bunch of dishes - i got the pad thai - it was good ! not too greesy at all, not too saucy. it was a good portion size my friends love the penna fresca and penne rosa!

(4)Jenna L.
(4)William C.
(3)Ashley J.
Had the pasta rossa with Parmesan crusted chicken. To be brief: Chicken tasted like rubber and everything was overwhelmingly salty and heavy. But to be fair, it was a cheap dinner, so I didn't expect it to be mind blowing.
(2)Ahmed H.

(1)Sarah B.
The phone number provided by Google, Yelp and the Noodles website did not work at all. Therefore, we were unable to order our food. This is incredibly poor management of a company. Noodles, you are losing customers and this issue needs to be resolved ASAP.
